Normally, as a rule, I don't look at beta stuff but I decided to make an exception for IronPython, a version of Python for .Net. If you're familiar with the 3D application Blender that I mentioned in my previous entry, you know it's using Python as its scripting language. Now, we can use IronPython as a scripting language for Managed DirectX. We can do some pretty cool stuff with this. Stay tuned... You can download IronPython here. |
